Welcome to The Daily Stem. This website and online store are operated by The Daily Stem, based in Central Otago, New Zealand. By visiting our site or purchasing from us, you agree to the terms outlined below.
We’ve written these Terms of Service to be as simple and transparent as possible — outlining how we operate, what you can expect from us, and what we expect from you as a customer.
1. Using Our Website
By using this website, you confirm that you are over 18 (or have permission from a guardian). You agree not to use our site or services for any unlawful or harmful purpose, and not to upload or transmit anything malicious or damaging.
2. Our Products and Pricing
All of our flowers and products are seasonal and subject to availability. Prices may change at any time without notice. We do our best to display colours and descriptions accurately, but natural variations will occur — especially with fresh flowers.
We reserve the right to limit or cancel orders if necessary (for example, due to supply or delivery constraints). If this happens, we’ll contact you as soon as possible.
3. Payment and Checkout
All payments are processed securely through Squarespace Payments. You agree to provide accurate billing and delivery information to ensure your order is completed correctly.
If we’re unable to process your payment or confirm your order, we’ll get in touch using the contact details you provide at checkout.
4. Delivery and Refunds
We take great care to ensure your flowers arrive fresh and beautiful. Because flowers are perishable, small variations or natural imperfections can occur.
If your flowers don’t arrive in good condition or fail to last at least three days, please email centralotagoflowers@gmail.com within 48 hours of delivery and include a photo. We’ll happily review your concern and, where appropriate, offer a replacement or credit.

5. Flower Care
To help your flowers last as long as possible:
Use a clean vase and fresh water.
Trim stems on an angle before placing in water, and every 2–3 days after.
Keep away from direct sunlight, heat, and fruit (which releases ethylene gas).
Refresh the water regularly.
With a little care, your blooms will stay vibrant for longer.
6. Privacy and Data
Your personal information is handled securely and used only for processing orders, communicating with you, and improving our service. We never share or sell your data. For more details, see our Privacy Policy.

We may occasionally update these Terms to reflect changes in our services, products, or legal obligations. The most current version will always be available on this page. Continued use of the website means you accept any updates.
